Financial Policy
Our practice provides specialized dental treatment for patients referred to our office. Your dentist referred you to our care with your best interest in mind, so that you can receive the best care possible. The payment policies of our office may be different than what you have become accustomed to with your family dentist.
Our fees are usually higher than those of general dentists, reflecting the expert level of care provided by specialists with extensive postgraduate education.
When you first present in our office, there will be a fee assessed for your examination and consultation. Once the doctor determines your diagnosis, she/he will provide you detailed explanation of your treatment needs, fees and insurance coverage if such applies.
Payment of applicable fees is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard as a method of payment. You are fully responsible for all fees regardless of your insurance coverage.
If you do have dental insurance, our office will assist you in receiving the maximum insurance coverage for your treatment; however, we do not accept payment directly from your insurer. As a courtesy, we electronically* submit estimates and claims on your behalf to your insurer, who will then reimburse you directly. In our experience, electronically submitted claims are handled quickly so that patients usually receive insurance payments within 5 business days.
*Some insurance companies are not set-up for electronic submission.
